As an electronics factory, what are the characteristics? It should be the blue-yellow anti-static clothing on the production line. What is the function of anti-static clothing? Why do factories always require wearing?
What is static electricity?
Static electricity is a stationary charge. Static electricity is not static, it is electricity that temporarily stops somewhere on a macroscopic scale. Static electricity is formed by the redistribution of charges caused by friction and by the redistribution of charges caused by the mutual attraction of charges.
We often find glitter effects and crackling glitter when we undress before bed. Sometimes you get a slight "shock" when we touch the fur of a "cat or dog". Also, if you comb your hair with a comb, it will attract paper scraps, which is what we often call "static electricity".
First, the principle of anti-static clothing
Anti-static clothing is made of anti-static fabric. Anti-static fabrics are fabrics made from conductive fibers or anti-static synthetic fibers during the spinning process.
conductive fiber
Anti-static work clothes made of conductive fibers are added to chemical fiber fabrics, mainly using the corona discharge effect (a very mild form of discharge that does not produce sparks).
This effect is often thought of as conductive fibers in fabrics. Under the action of the electrostatic field, the surrounding air is ionized to form positive and negative ions. One of the positive and negative ions opposes the static charge of the fabric and neutralizes the other. Species are neutralized by the environment or the earth, thereby eliminating static electricity.
Second, the role of anti-static clothing
Because the human body itself has static electricity, the clothes people usually wear are made of natural or artificial fibers, and static electricity is easily generated after friction (especially artificial fibers).
Anti-static clothing is a protective clothing sewn from anti-static fabrics to prevent static electricity from accumulating on clothing. Used in electronics, oil field, petrochemical, electric power, coal and other industries. Suitable for use in static-sensitive locations or fire or explosion hazard locations.
3. Why do electronic factories wear anti-static clothing?
Because people working in electronics factories often come into contact with delicate electronic components, static electricity is harmful to any electronic product. Electrostatic discharge occurs when a person or object with static electricity comes into contact with these devices. When electrostatic high voltage strikes the circuit, the internal oxide film will be broken down and destroyed, resulting in electrical equipment damage on the spot or abnormal operation.
In addition, static electricity will also cause harm to the human body, so in order to protect the personal safety of employees and ensure the pass rate of electronic products, employees of electronic factories will wear corresponding anti-static protective equipment.
