Test methods for antistatic properties of fabrics (1) Half-life method (2) Friction charging voltage method) Surface area density, Dispel) Equivalent resistance method between poles (5) Clothing charge method when undressing (6) Workwear friction belt Electricity law.
(1) Half-life: After the sample is charged and stabilized in a high electrostatic field, the time required for the voltage to decay by half is measured. This method is easy to operate, the data is reproducible, and non-destructive measurement, but the attenuation does not conform to the exponential law. Test voltage is closely related.
2) Friction charging voltage method: Under a certain tension, the sample is rubbed against the standard cloth, and the highest voltage and average voltage are tested. The sample used in this method is small, and the error of the contact pressure is not sufficient.
3) Charge surface density method: The sample is put into a Faraday tube after friction, and the charge surface density is measured. This method better reflects the actual wearing characteristics, can reflect the corona discharge ability of the fabric when it is electrified, and is suitable for the testing of antistatic fabrics with conductive wires, but it is easily affected by human factors and its position in the electrostatic potential sequence.
(4) Inter-electrode equivalent resistance method: The fabric sample is in good contact with the grounded conductive offset plate, and a special electrode is supported on the sample at a specified distance and pressure. After short-circuit discharge, a voltage is applied and the inter-electrode equivalent is obtained according to the current Resistance (w). The current flowing through the sample was measured at a constant voltage to obtain the equivalent resistance between the electrodes.
It has a good measurement effect on static-leakage fabrics with uniform static performance.
(5) The method of charging the clothes when undressing: The work clothes are rubbed with chemical fiber underwear in a specific way, and the work clothes are taken off and put into a Faraday tube to obtain the charge (mC / piece). The test object of this method is limited to clothing, and there is no stipulation on the material of underwear. The friction method is difficult to be consistent and lacks comparability.
(6) Workwear friction charging method: Friction electrification of the workwear sample using a drum drying device lined with nylon or polypropylene standard cloth for 15 minutes, put it into a Faraday tube, and measure the workwear charge (mC / piece). The use of conductive fibers: conductive fibers are mainly used for anti-static barriers, electromagnetic radiation, dust-free, sterile clothing, and explosion-proof work clothes, anti-static filter bags, electromagnetic shielding covers, anti-microwave work clothes.
