Classification of organic conductive fibers

There are three kinds of manufacturing methods of organic conductive fiber, which are conductive material coating type, conductive polymer direct spinning type and conductive material blending with polymer or composite spinning type.

1. Conductive material coated fiber

The coating type organic conductive fiber coated with metal, carbon and other conductive materials has good conductive effect because the conductive materials are exposed in the outer layer of the fiber. However, this kind of fiber has some defects, such as poor wear resistance, washing resistance, and bending resistance. 2. Conductive polymer fiber

3. Blend or composite spinning fiber

Using carbon black, metal oxide and other conductive materials and common polymers for CO blending or composite spinning, organic conductive fibers with excellent performance can be made.

Application
