Anti-static and dust-free clothing, also known as clean clothing, is widely used in medicine, microelectronics, precision instruments, precision machinery, food industry, life engineering, fine chemicals and other industries. With the rapid development of electronic technology and biotechnology, the demand for anti-static and dust-free clothing by a large number of high-tech enterprises in China has gradually increased.

Functional requirements

1. Dustproof performance:

Clothing used in a clean environment must first prevent the garment itself from generating dust. The general textile materials, especially cotton products and various short-fiber blended products, have the hairiness of the fibers on the surface, and some debris remains during the processing due to cutting. When relative movement and friction occur, there will be dust. Shedding off the fabric and clothing. In order to reduce the formation and fall-off of fine dust, fabrics with general dustproof function will use fabrics of synthetic fiber filaments as raw materials for garment processing.

Secondly, the anti-static dust-free clothing should be able to have a certain filtering effect on the dust generated by the internal clothing and the human skin. This requires that the dust and other dirt be restricted to the internal environment of the garment without affecting the moisture permeability and air permeability required by the human body, thereby requiring the fabric structure of the dustproof garment to have a certain tightness.

Second, antistatic properties

In general, ordinary synthetic fiber fabrics generate high-voltage static electricity when they are in an electric field or when they are rubbed. After the ordinary polyester fabric rubs five times with each other, the measured static voltage can be as high as kilovolt or more. Such high voltages are not allowed in the microelectronics industry and the medical industry, and will not only affect the quality of the products, but also affect the health and safety of the human body. There are currently two main solutions:

1) woven the conductive yarn into the fabric;

2) adding a surfactant during the dyeing and finishing process;

3. Washability

The human body and the environment are the main sources of pollution for anti-static dust-free garments. After using anti-static dust-free overalls, the inner and outer surfaces of the garments tend to adhere to some dust, and cleaning becomes a necessary problem. Whether the functionality of the garment after washing is weakened is also a very important problem. At present, the washability of the antistatic dust-free clothing is generally required to be more than 50 times in China.

In general, anti-static clean clothing should meet the following basic requirements: 1 After cleaning, the amount of dust contained in the garment reaches the requirements of the corresponding level of clean room; 2 the conductive wire is damaged to a minimum extent during the cleaning process.

4. Comfort requirements

In terms of comfort, there are two main considerations:

1) is sporty comfort:

The sporting comfort of the garment mainly considers the adaptability of the action taken by the garment and the human body under working conditions. For example, employees in microelectronics companies mainly use sitting postures and arms to operate at work. At this time, it is very important that the overalls will cause the workers to feel involved. Because working in a sense of involvement will not only affect people's comfort, but also affect work efficiency and production output. Therefore, the current anti-static dust-free clothing is designed to be relatively loose, trying to meet the human body's motion requirements.

2) is hot and humid comfort:

The requirements for heat and moisture comfort of anti-static and dust-free garments are the same as those of ordinary garments, and they need to have certain breathability and moisture permeability. The current anti-static dust-free clothing uses polyester filament material and a tight fabric structure, which is relatively poor in heat and moisture comfort.

With the use of microfibers, it is basically possible to discharge the water vapor and heat generated by the human body while being dustproof.
