The difference of antistatic property between organic conductive filament and short fiber
The polyester static free staple fiber called organic conductive short fiber is similar to the organic conductive filament, and it still has good conductivity. The mass specific resistance of carbon black composite and carbon black coated conductive short fiber is far less than that of metal compound composite. The organic conductive staple fiber has good spinning performance. The addition of organic conductive staple fiber can effectively eliminate the electrostatic interference in the spinning process. But from the antistatic effect of the fabric, the antistatic effect of the filament of the same material is far better than that of the short fiber; the shorter the short fiber is added, the worse the antistatic effect of the fabric; the antistatic effect of the short metal compound conductive fiber is worse than that of the carbon black conductive fiber; the antistatic effect of the conductive fiber added to the knitted fabric is better than that of the woven fabric.
